We woke early to visit Pashupatinath Temple, where 12 priests performed Rudrabhishekam. Later, we visited Guhyeshwari Mata Temple and explored Patan Durbar Square before heading to Nagarkot, where the sunset welcomed us.
πΏ Travel Note: Pashupatinath Temple
One of the holiest Shiva temples, on the banks of the Bagmati River. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it attracts thousands of pilgrims and sadhus.
β¨ Reflection: Walking through its ancient pathways, I felt both small and deeply connected.
πΈ Travel Note: Guhyeshwari Mata Temple
A revered Shakti Peeth, where Goddess Satiβs secret part (guhya) fell.
β¨ Reflection: Praying here, I felt the union of Shiva and Shaktiβstrength and grace guiding the soul.
Reflection of the Day:
Rituals performed with devotion create an unshakable peace. Surrendering to the divine brings strength no matter how uncertain the path ahead feels.
